Q: Do the stories have to be HEA? Assuming they will be tagged appropriately.
A: HEA are not mandatory! As long as you tag appropriately (Not using ‘Creator Chose Not To Use Warnings’ as well as tagging relevant triggering or sensitive topics) you can write anything your heart desires :D This also extends to open-ended endings and dead dove/horror subject matter.
On a related note: whether they are artwork or fic or drabbles etc., we wanted to reiterate that they also do not have to be finished! These can be sketches or the first chapter of a multi-chapter fic, or even just a snippet of a one-shot that you’re working on. As long as you post on the appropriate day (or afterwards) we will reblog/retweet/share etc :)
Q: Are the free days still subject to the themes? I ask because I am wondering why there are so many free days but then figured each has to be still in the theme for their week?
A: Each week theme has a free day (at the end) for works that follow the theme but aren’t any of the preceding 6 specific prompts. So we have 4 theme-related free days. However at the end of the month we have 2 Free Days that are completely themeless, when you can post anything dramione. Hopefully this answers your question!
Q: Can I use any magical object as inspiration for week 4?
A: Yes! If you are posting a magical object related work that isn’t one of our 6 specific prompts, you can post on the Week 4 Free Day. On that day you also don’t necessarily have to use a HP canon item either ^^
Q: Hi another question: regarding a prompt like time turner. Can I do a time travel but not include a time turner? Or would that be best for the free day for that week?
A: If the item isn’t featured in the work, then it’d be best to save that for the free day!
Q: Do I have to claim a prompt on AO3 or can I just post on AO3 and tumblr without worrying about it?
A: You don’t have to claim a prompt but we’d really appreciate it if the work is at least added to the collection! However, even if you forget we will be going through the dramione tag on ao3 after the month is over; as long as it mentions ‘Dramione Month’ in the summary, we’ll request to add it to the collection. For Tumblr, as long as you tag it 'dramione month’ we will reblog 😄 Hopefully that answers your question and makes sense!
Q: Just curious if the 16th is supposed to be the “astronomy tower” not “astrology tower”? Thanks!
A: Lol….yes. We’ve fixed it for the month going forward and have posted the correct calendar below

The below questions and answers can also be found on our AO3 Collection!
Q: What ships are allowed?
A: As this is Dramione month, all works must be Hermione Granger and Draco Malfoy-centric. Side/minor pairings are allowed, but please ensure your work is celebrating Draco and Hermione as the main pairing.
Q: Do I have to commit for the entire month?
A: Absolutely not! You can post as many or as few as you want! Please do not feel pressured to post every single day–participation does not require signing up for more than one day or prompt. Daily participation is not required.
Q: Can I post if I have something related to the weekly theme but it’s not a daily prompt?
A: Yes! We will have a free day at the end of each theme week to allow for this. On free days, we will be celebrating and sharing posts of whatever content creators wish to share, related to the weekly theme.
Q: What if I have something that doesn’t fit any of the daily or weekly themes?
A: Not a problem at all! We’d love to see your posts and content. We will have a final free-for-all stretch beginning September 29th and ending on September 30th. Whether related to a weekly theme you still wish to post, or your own ideas related to Dramione, it’s the last few days of celebration and anything is allowed.
Q: Can I post WIPs?
A: Yes! Fics, art, socmeds, drabbles, etc do not have to be complete when posted. We only ask that you do not post a work for a yet-unreleased theme that is coming up.
Q: If I miss a day, can I still post my work?
A: Yes! You are free to post for any past day’s theme during September. We only ask that you do not post ahead of schedule, e.g. posting your day 20 theme piece on day 4.
Q: Can I post dead doves or work with explicit or sensitive content?
A: Yes! We allow all content as long as they are properly tagged.
Q: How will you be sharing content?
A: On Twitter and Bluesky, feel free to quote-retweet the prompt each day with drabbles, fic links, sketches, etc! Also feel free to use our hashtag, #dramionemonth or #dhrmonth for any work you wish for us to share on twitter/tumblr/instagram/bluesky, or add to our ao3 collection. On Instagram, we’ll be sharing to our story and adding everyone’s works to our highlights. Remember that you’re also able to share work for any previous days’ themes! We don’t want to miss out on any of your incredible work.
